I’m currently a junior at Baruch College in New York City, majoring in Marketing Management with a passion for self-expression and human connection. My background spans music, caregiving, retail, and digital media, shaping my ability to engage with people in meaningful ways.
From mentoring and conducting in competitive choir groups to providing personalized experiences at Lovisa, I thrive in roles that blend creativity with interpersonal connection. My skills in Excel, Canva, and Photoshop further support my vision for the future—redefining prosthetic design to bring individuality to an industry that often lacks personalization.
I’m excited to merge my love for marketing, creativity, and innovation to craft solutions that empower people to express themselves fully.
Interest in Marketing
Pursuing a career in marketing supports my journey toward enhancing the art of personal expression and individuality. I view prosthetics as a medium through which I can strengthen my values of authenticity and self-representation, envisioning a future where unconventional, diverse designs bring unique, eccentric limbs to life—adding personalization to an industry often bound by rigid standards.
My interest in marketing was solidified during a business communications course when I was tasked with creating a visual marketing assignment. This project allowed me to channel my creativity into a strategic and engaging format, confirming my passion for the field. Marketing excites me not only as a creative outlet but also as a tool that bridges my academic studies with real-world applications. Seeing marketing theories come to life while simultaneously learning them enriches my understanding and strengthens my ability to apply them effectively.
Beyond academics, I’ve realized that marketing plays a significant role in my daily life. I find myself analyzing ads on the subway, dissecting what is being advertised, and exploring the intention behind them. Even my social media presence has become an avenue for self-representation, reinforcing my belief that marketing is an extension of personal and brand identity. This intersection of creativity, strategy, and human connection fuels my passion for marketing, and I look forward to shaping a career that embraces these elements.
